•prayers by pray-ers who go the distance. prayers by the ones who cannot walk. prayers by the wealthy, prayers by the grateful, prayers by the needy, prayers by the desperate.
•prayers in the sun. prayers in the dark. prayers with eyes open. prayers with a blindfold on.
•gunshots inside hangars echoing through the vents to the roof where pigeons break their daily bread stolen from the bakery on northwest corner where the street artist painted her portrait for the first time. she'd hated pictures of herself before that. the mirror was her friend after.
•yoga class in the park where people forced their laughs wearing cheap runners they'd buy at cheap stores which'd break in less than a month but hey, at least they look nice, right? you can't go wrong with a (fake) pair of sneakers!
•a parkour stage with live candy and a warehouse nearby, no clue what's going on, no clue who's who, a bad memory for faces and worse for names and a song stuck in the head. a friend who doesn't wanna leave but has to, a night that ends in a disaster but not quite. why? not fair. NOT FAIR.
